Who we are
Welcome to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. St. Paul’s has been a member of the Linwood Neighborhood in Milwaukie, Oregon since it was chartered in 1961.
We thank you for your interest and hope you’ll take the opportunity to visit us soon. You’ll find an open and friendly congregation where the love of God and grace of Christ is at work every day through prayer and praise, service in our community, and the love and care we give one another. Love of God and neighbor happens here! Join us!
What to expect when you visit
Dress tends to be casual and the worship service lasts about an hour. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. Child care for children under six is available during the services, however children are always welcome in worship. Coffee, punch and cookies are available after worship.
How we share our gifts
St. Paul’s is dedicated to mission and outreach. We were integral in starting the Backpack Buddies program at our local elementary school where two nutritious meals for students at risk of hunger, are sent home each weekend. Through generous giving we are able to supply the food and with volunteers, pack the bags prior to delivery at the school.
Again, through volunteers and generous giving we support Clackamas Service Center, a local center where low income persons receive help with food, clothing, and work referrals.
Additional outreach is through our St. Paul’s groups as well as the use of our building by outside community groups to include Hispanic Worship, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Nicotine Anonymous.
