Our Housing Team met for good discussion on June 3rd and a few cliches seem appropriate do describe our progress.
“One step at a time“ – The potential developer Hacienda was unable to gather enough information to make a presentation, which gave us the opportunity to explore some other options. “Get all your ducks in a row” – Creating a multicolored chart of all the balls we have floating in the air, gave us the opportunity to revise priorities and direction.
“Don’t put the cart before the horse“ – the possibility, potential, and myriad of details still to be discussed with Cascade Church has necessitated our last cliché. “Fools rush in” – because our church and building use has the potential for change, we felt that a summer of discernment and meeting-when-the-need-arises would be an appropriate near future for us at this time.
